over an amazing heisman caliber athlete who doesn’t care to understand the most fundamental situational awareness the QB position requires who also has accuracy issues.

Bowman outplayed Green today. We still may have won if not for the stupid punt muff, but that’s for another thread.

I'm not typically the guy that calls for the backup QB after a loss, but all my preseason fears of what we were getting with Green were on full display today. I just don't think he has the tools to play at this level, even if he is a gifted athlete.

Singleton deserves a shot. He has a great arm that was accurate all the way back in high school, and is a very capable runner that can make defenses pay with his feet.

Green is who we thought he was after the UAPB game. He's going to make some amazing plays and then whiff on basic stuff. With a likely TD in the 2nd OT and plenty of time to make the throw he was behind a wide open receiver.

Green had nearly 500 yards of offense. That’s not why we lost. Turnovers and special teams along with sloppy undisciplined all around play cost us this one. Like do we not correct shite in practice? How does the same guy almost cause a muffed punt by running into the return man then do it again 2 quarters later? Krosse Johnson btw. I mean we shot ourself in the foot time and time again.

Scott Fountain needs to be fired into the fricking sun.

Taylen couldn’t direct a simple clock stop play. He almost cost us a chance for the last second FG by trying to complete a pass with less than 5 seconds on the clock. He took a terrible sack in OT. His timing on passing plays isn’t great. He carries the ball like a loaf of bread, just a matter of time until he fumbles it away. He threw a bullet into Hill’s knees on the wheel route when he just needed to slightly lead him with soft touch pass. His handling of the ball is a liability.

This is a great example of not being in the system your college career. He can still get better but his experience was a factor.

all of this is true and yet he still did enough for us to win. He has his issues but if he was perfect he wouldn’t have came to Arkansas. Krosse Johnson running into sategna( twice!) on the punt, our kicker not being able to kick anything beyond 40 yards, Jackson dropping a toss, sorey body slamming a guy on what would’ve been 3rd and 10 coming up, all played a bigger role in the loss than green.

I'll have to watch 2H again but as I was watching, there seemed to be zero adjustments to OL blocking scheme when OSU changed things up on D. Night and day. It all seemed so simple to do, but we didn't for the entire Q3.

One rules question.

During the play to score at the 9:40 mark, an OPI was called for a pick but overturned due to "behind the line of scrimmage" pass. Does the pick not matter if it's past the LOS and still in the QBs hand?

UAPB really prepared Arkansas for this game.

You are correct. 2nd half they brought the house every play and our QB scrambled around in the backyard as our WRs ran deep posts. No adjustments at all. Gave up running the ball. No screens or RB outlets to relieve the pressure. No adjustments of any kind until they switched to prevent right before end of game and magically we moved the ball again
