Hendon almost died and didn’t stay that long in college.

Tip of the cap for the persistence and dedication to the sport he loves

At the time, McCormick was considered as unlikely to be selected in the 2023 NFL draft. By then, he had already earned his Bachelor's degree, in journalism, and his Master's degree, in advertising and brand responsibility.

I hope he’s taken his education seriously. If so, he should walk out of college football with a free doctorate degree.
I love Stetson Bennett, but being in college for seven years for free and not walking out with a bachelor’s degree much less a master’s is something I would regret for the rest of my life, NFL money or not.
ETA: he was in college for six years, not seven. Point still stands.

Professional sports teams usually have a clause to pay for their players to go back and earn a degree. At least by buddy had it baked into his clause in baseball they’d pay for him to go to school

Wait....Stetson was in school for 7 years and on the football team and didn't get a bachelors degree?

Tell us how many years, Rain Man?

You’re right. I thought he was a freshman in 2016, but he was a freshman in 2017, so six years. Still a long time to not get at least a bachelor’s degree.
I’m not trying to trash Stetson Bennett, by the way. He works a job where he makes way more money than I ever will, degree or no degree. If it were me, though, I’d be kicking myself at the missed opportunity.

So, you don't know? You could always lie about it, like you lied about attending UGA.
Okay, he was there 7 years. Until we are proved wrong, it is 7 years. NO DEGREE!

That dude came to college when Pat Mahomes was a junior at Texas Tech…
He was teammates with some of Marcus Mariota’s former teammates
That’s old
