Make the playoffs:

Georgia- 15
Ohio State- 15
Alabama- 15
Oregon- 15
Notre Dame- 14
Penn State- 14
Clemson- 13
Texas- 12
Ole Miss- 11
Miami -10
Utah- 9
Memphis- 8
Boise St- 5
Oklahoma St.- 5
Kansas State- 3
Michigan- 3
Missouri- 3
Kansas-3
NC State- 1
Liberty- 1
Tennessee-1
UNLV- 1
VA Tech-1
LSU- 1
Arizona- 1

Make the semis:

Georgia- 15
Ohio St- 15
Oregon- 10
Texas- 6
Notre Dame- 5
Ole Miss- 3
Okie St.- 2
Alabama- 1
Penn St.- 1
Clemson- 1
Michigan- 1

Finalists-

Georgia- 14
Ohio State- 12
Oregon- 3
Texas- 1

Champion-

Georgia- 9
Ohio St- 5
Oregon- 1

Some thoughts:

- Surprised Missouri didn't get a little more love

- That Tech loss may not have eliminated FSU totally, but it sure seems to have done so for journalists.

-Alabama on all ballots for the playoff, but Texas left off of three is a small surprise.

- While all picked Alabama to make the playoff, only one picked them to win their first round matchup.

- Looking over the whole thing, Georgia and Ohio State are in a tier and Oregon is in a second tier all by themselves.

-Big 12 seems to be fairly wide open

- Clemson is still the king of the ACC

- I haven't followed Miami this offseason, but they seem to always disappoint and it never affects their status coming into the next year.

- really high confidence that Penn St. and Notre Dame are top 10 type teams.

They don't know that Shrek is about to unleash some magic at A&M. I pity them.

It’s too bad they waited until after week 0 because we’d see a lot more tallies for FSU.

The issue isn't that the loss eliminates them by itself, but based on what we saw on the field most people are confident there are going to be several more losses coming down the pipe for them.

That’s a pretty decent poll. I’m guessing a Georgia-Ohio state NC game minus season injuries to key players.

Those writers sure aren’t on the same page with Tennessee fans.

One of these 4 will miss the playoff. Book it.

Interesting that Bama doesn't get love hosting a home playoff game with their level of talent.
