Movie not hotel. There's one right answer. The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
And it's the best because of Tuco.
Any other answer belongs in the trash with Pios sport predictions

It's funny but it's not the best western

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly is an all-time great .
I would put the Searchers and Unforgiven in the mix too.

I thought you meant Hotel when I read the header.
I dont have a best western movie that stands out above all others. My favorites are mostly calvary movies.
Hopefully someday I will see one and think Damn ...THATS IT.

Beat me to it…
The ones with John Wayne or Clint Eastwood are my favorites.
I don’t know guess it’s considered a western but the back to the future one where Marty went back to get doc was good.

So many great quotes in Josey Wales. A bit of historical context as well. .

Bad Day at Black Rock
OR
3 Godfathers
To be a "Western" it should actually be set in the West
Josey Wales and Good, Bad, Ugly are set in the Civil War
Midwest is not the West

The good the bad and ugly takes place in the south west. General Sibley is mentioned toward the beginning.
He was a real confederate officer during the war. That said it was shot in Europe

Josey Wales takes place in Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas. All 3 states are part of the Western fricks SEC pod. Josey Wales is a western.

High Plains Drifter
Tombstone
The Unforgiven
Magnificent Seven - I thought it would suck, but it was really good

To me personally, if they’re wearing a cowboy hat, wearing boots, riding a horse and wearing 6 guns on their hips in the old days it’s a western.

Barberosa is the very best Western no one's ever heard of. Otherwise, The Outlaw Josey Wales.
