UGA is absolutely loaded Beck is insane with the way the new passing system works.

It’s insane how they improved the game. There’s way too many new features to list here but it actually simulates real football now, you can disguise coverage schemes, when you pass there’s a meter that allows for touch throws etc, it’s an extremely good football game id look up all the features of it you’re interested.

For instance Beck is a 93 and will automatically point out the Mike linebacker at the line of scrimmage, a freshman with less awareness won’t. You can run RPOs. It’s good

Out of curiosity...can you choose a play and let the game play it out,(Kind of like a coach mode?) or do you have to have complete control over the QB, RB etc?

I'm afraid my old arse won't be able to process everything that's happening and select the correct buttons all at the same time.

To my knowledge I don’t think there’s anything like this in the game but there’s a laundry list of features you can look it up. Each team has a unique playbook

I will say this game actually feels like football and having knowledge of football is 100% required to play on heisman difficulty. Offensively you have 12 hot route options including how far you want them to go if it’s like a dig. The protection can be adjusted in 8 ways, depending on if you have reckonized the mike or not. Speed is a big deal in this game. The new pass system is really really cool ofc I’ve mostly played with Beck the best qb in the game but throw power isn’t just how far you can throw It anymore it’s also can you hit a 15 yard out, you can also put touch on passes and way way more including a new type of wear and tear system that is when players are dinged. If your qb gets hit a lot in one game in his throwing shoulder he won’t be as good.

On defense you can disguise your scheme in like 6-7 different ways. Also say your playing MLB in man coverage on the RB who is on a route if the AI throws a deep post you can flick a analog stick to take over for the safety and cut in front of it and pick it off.

Game has a lot of deep systems

For the older guys who are wary of some of the deep systems there’s training modules out of the wazzou and all American the second highest difficulty is substantially easier than heisman

London Humphreys is a damn cheat code on go routes, the speed is unreal.

Went on the road to Bama in dynasty and the only thing that kept me in the game long enough to settle down their stadium was a few over the top drops in the bucket to him streaking to the end zone.

The kicking system is hard as shite though outside of PATs

You playing on Heisman?

In my Dynasty I beat Bama but lost to Texas. That loss was the last time I played. I’m pretty sure I heard a dev diary about how the AI in this game is so advanced they will shut down strategies you used to beat other teams. Like I used a mix of running and Delp to beat Bama and Texas doubled Delp a lot and he had 1 catch.

Yup but I don’t play online I hate getting blown out by prepubescent Jack asses :-)
It’s a great game how they have all the songs for the schools etc….
I am enjoying it but won NC first year has the worst recruiting class in the SEC so need to figure that out…

What difficulty are you on?

Not that I disagree. I think it’s a congruent of factors. His speed rating where speed disparity has never been more impactful, UGA is loaded seriously they’re rated too good meaning the AI defense has to account for a ton like I abuse Delp on 15 yard outs, and the sliders need some tuning but not near as much as years past. The guys on operation sports are working on it.

Like I posted above though the AI learns from your previous games. I had great success against Alabama running Etiene and feeding Delp and Texas shite them both down completely with various combinations of concealed coverages making me have to win one on one with receivers most times. I lost to Texas 24-13. This is all on heisman though I hear it gets way easier when you drop down.

Essentially as things stand now until a few slider tweaks happen since they removed the ability to edit player ratings playing with UGA I’d like using god mode. I’m going to start a dynasty with a mid team but has hot bed recruiting spots (for the guy who said he didn’t understand recruiting these are important) something like maybe Maryland idk

Would y'all suggest PS or Xbox if buying a system to play this game?

I play on ps5 and also have a gaming pc. There’s just no real practical reason to buy an Xbox anymore it’s simply a gamepass box and anything they have exclusively on will make its way to ps5 eventually they’re 100 billion in the whole.

Depending on what other types of games you like ps5 had solid exclusivity like FF7 Rebirth Stellar Blade and more, plus the anticipated Ghost of Tshushima 2 and my current most anticipated game phantom blade zero is Sony financed so it’ll be on there only.

It really depends rig, there’s 4 difficulty options but it’s a massive spike to heisman at the top. If you just wanna chill and have fun you can easily do that on one of the lowers if you want yo really use this as an extremely good football simulator you’ll have to play on heisman. They have an section of about 50-60 different little mini games or tutorials for all kinds of things on offense and defense you can learn on that’s what I did.

The last game I got was the 2013 version of the college football game.

The game adapting will keep it interesting. The previous versions couldn't defend the option, and it was easy to read and beat the coverages.

Yeah to get the most out of actually having to implement football knowledge and execute as well as the AI you must play on the top difficulty but you’ll get it. Sliders will be out soon
