Why does it feel like Rod Serling is SEC Commissioner. This whole upcoming CFB season is gonna feel real strange.

I prefer it to rotate amongst the member school states.

Well you have to look at it from the point of view from the other members of the SEC outside of OU and Texas. SEC Media Days will be in Dallas Texas next week. That sounds so strange.

Blame aggy. They're closer to Dallas than Austin is..by nearly 100 miles. Hell, dirt burglars are closer as well.

The changes to the SEC and CFB as a whole may take a few seasons to get used to again. This just seems wierd.

Even worse, the TOTINO'S Big 12 media days are being held in Las Vegas, a city located farther west than any school in a conference that stretches from Utah to Forida and West Virginia. That really makes sense.

Yeah the Big 12 and B10 has lost it. They both have morphed into a country wide conference instead of a regional conference. They went the C-USA route.

And you might would call what the Big 10 did the joke of the offseason if the ACC had not come along and said hold my beer and watch this move.

Boy, I hope no one is relying on you for directions. College Station is about 12 miles closer. Norman about 5.

Who cares where the SEC has their media days? It is for the media, so they should probably have it in hell so they would feel more comfortable. I have no idea why fans try an attend this. It is worse than the running of the gumps. Stand for hours to watch a coach walk by and say 5 words as they are walking into their press conference.

I bet the first Big 10 media day in Dallas happens the year aggy joins the Big 10.

it won't be much longer before big ten and sec become two power 5 leagues with whoever they pull from Big 12 and ACC
less tv negotiations

college packages will exist on several networks

Exactly. Houston is actually closer to College Station and Austin. The only thing in Dallas of interest is the Big 12 headquarters are located in Dallas (Irving).

This just another one of those topics that this board full of Karens tries to make a big deal out of when there really is not a story there.

MAYBE THE SEC AND THE BIG 12 ARE GOING TO ANNOUNCE THEY ARE COMBINING!!!! OMG!!!

I’ve never been and never thought about attending (while we were in the Big12). But being new to SEC and this being right in my backyard, I was thinking about going.
