So is Grahovac. Just need Kent and Sorrell back, and we will be better than last year in many ways ...

Pretty certain that most of them will be back. Earley will keep it intact despite the best efforts of that PoS to torpedo our program.

I mean these kids couldn't have gone to Texas. There's just some things that you don't do.

The funny part is there a few Texas players that transferred out of A&M due to their dislike of Schloss. I wonder if they will come back as well. This team feels they have unfinished business

For those who don't know who these guys are.
LaViolette - 1.175 OPS, 29 HR, 87 R, 78 RBI
Grahovac - .986 OPS, 23 HR, 83 R, 66 RBI
Schott - .916 OPS, 8 HR, 45 R. 63 RBI

The next major hurdle is seeing if we can convince Appel (.956 OPS Catcher) & Camerillo (.816 OPS Shortstop) to come back and not go to the draft. Those 2 were the 2 most important defenders on our team .

Appel and Camerillo will come back if they aren't drafted high. Just need Hensler, Kent, and Sorrell. I think Kent is the most important piece left. If Prager or Asch aren't drafted high ...

Don't hold your breath on Kent. If he's worried about Ali coming back, he'll look elsewhere. I think he wants to get a shot at SS.

Agreed. I don't think Ali is coming back though ... he's one of our best defenders.

I would guess it depends on money. If he's a top 10 draft pick then at worst he's probably getting 180K to sign. If get can go as high as the 6th round then he's more likely in the 300-350k range. I just wonder how much NIL we'd be willing to dish out.

5+ batters with an OPS >.800 is damn good.
