Where are the Missouri Tigers?

College football fans were all left wondering the same thing after EA Sports unveiled its power ranking of the top 25 teams in its upcoming "College Football 25" video game.

Missouri finished last season 11-2 and No. 8 in the Associated Press top 25 poll. It returns starting quarterback Brady Cook, who was 244-of-369 passing for 3,317 yards, 21 touchdowns and six interceptions in 2023.

But the Tigers were curiously absent from the EA Sports list, which confused nearly everyone. "Missouri should be top 25," "WHERE IS MISSOURI??" "Top 10 Mizzou not even in the top 25," "No Mizzou is absolutely a crime wth," "Missouri disrespected," were a few of the comments people left under a post of the top 25 power rankings.

In addition to Cook, Missouri returns its top three wide receivers from last season, Luther Burden III, Theo Wease Jr. and Mookie Cooper.

Missouri has the 20th-ranked incoming recruiting class, led by five-star prospect Williams Nwaneri, a 6-foot-6, 257-pound edge-rusher who ranks sixth in 247 Sports' overall player rankings. Tigers head coach Eli Drinkwitz was also busy in the transfer portal, welcoming in the eight-best class this year, per On3. Last season, the Tigers averaged 434.3 yards per game, ranking 28th in the country. They allowed 336.1 yards per game, which ranked 34th.

Of course win games but it does matter s little bit. Mizzou has always had to overcome disrespect and being overlooked. Kids grow up playing the games and brand recognition is a thing. Is it a major thing, well no but there are reasons after following this team since 1978 that it gets old.
