Greg McElroy worst sports guy in the entire country. He is a bitter clown.

Hated by all SEC schools.
He has hated on Alabama so much the radio station made him basically apologizing on air for not supporting UA and that he claims he really likes his home school and supports them. He has blasted Alabama over and over for years.
McElroy failed to get the Alabama radio job which cost him millions instead had to settle for ESPN. So before you idiots claim ESPN pays more yes they do. But the networking with Alabama boosters bring the radio guys into is 100x the ESPN gig. Eli Gold went from a bottom middle class guy to owning no telling the 10 of millions dollars worth of property in Florida and North Carolina plus other investments.
McElroy used to do many speaking engagements he lost out on that because locally nobody likes him.
School he hates
1. Alabama
2. Florida
3. South Carolina
4. LSU
5. Tennessee
He also hates the fact he is not remember as a star off the 2009 national title team like say Heisman winner Mark Ingram or Julio Jones, or Rolando McClain.
He is a California guy at heart.

But you're right that he tried to be edgy towards his former team and it backfired. Greg is a smart guy and a nice guy. I used to play FIFA with him back when he was a true freshman. But his dive into the media world made him a phony.

I don’t hate McElroy. I always thought his criticism was fair, and he wasn’t going to make excuses for anyone.
If he really thought he was the star of the team, I don’t know what to tell him. Saban built his team to win up front for the bulk of his success. The QB was just a distributor, not the producer.

Eli Gold owns 50 condos in NC and Florida does espn provide that. I was told he makes millions a year off just rent. He did this off networking with boosters. Eli makes more every 2 weeks than McElroy does a year.

He's a great businessman, we don't hold that against him. Meanwhile, McElroy is doing the bigger ESPN national broadcast for years and a ton of ESPN shows on the side and getting paid millions for the privilege. Greg is known everywhere he goes for his football takes. And you want us to pick a winner?

I thought he & Marcus Spears were great on their old show TOL on SECN, they made a great team. But as an analyst, he does comes across as a know it all sometimes & tends to overdo his attempts at impartiality. But "He also hates the fact he is not remember as a star off the 2009 national title team" is a reach. Most Tide fans remember & appreciate he outplayed Tebow in the SECC and was MVP, and then played in the NC with two cracked ribs.
