There fix for everything seems to be money. “We’ll just money whip this guy into being our coach!”, “No one could outbid us for this player!”, “We have the best facilities money can buy!”, Etc. It reminds me of driving around Houston and seeing all these soulless McMansions and cookie cutter “gated communities”.. yeah it’s nice but the atmosphere sucks and is bland.
It doesn’t seem like this tactic has worked for them ever.. just some Wednesday morning musings.

When your school is located in the armpit of the universe you have no choice but to try and money whip coaches and players to come there.

The part I enjoy most is the knee-jerk reaction to automatically go after LSU coaches. They want to be LSU so bad.

I mean yeah, but what are they supposed to do about it? Oil money is far and away the best thing they've got going for them, and just spending less isn't likely to make them better at anything.
