Without one of our better pitchers and two AA bats? Would be a story for sure … do you believe in miracles?

Nobody messes with Aggy more than me (sorry EKG not bait); but this isn’t a miracle. Warren Morris was bottom of the 9th miracle.

Aggy is playing great baseball exactly when they need to be playing great baseball.

A&M winning in every possible way this postseason. We got through the season with the bats, and we’ve had stellar pitching in the CWS even with the loss of Sdao. A&M has never been in this position before

I’m going to wait and see how fsu does before making any judgements. They and 10rc looked to be the ones who can put alot of runs on the board. They just happened to meet up in the first game.

Amazing clutch performance by entire Aggie pitching staff. Beat Kentucky without even needing Aschenbeck to close. That was big.

Those 10rc black jerseys are terrible.

I can’t begin to fathom the level of Aggie arrogance if they win their first major championship in 80 years.

Just take LSU and divide by 10.

Aggie has a bevy of talented pitchers even in the absence of Sdao, the deepest staff remaining IMO. I think bats are the bigger concern if LaViolette is out or limited.

That would mean Schott wouldn’t play. He’s probably been our most consistent hitter over the last 5 games.

Schott’s stick to valuable to sit. Tragedy that chestnut bats in this predicament. He would have to play 1st with his bum knee is the only move I see that allows Lava to DH. Have not thought through the effects of where Burton plays or can play. The only opening is 2nd base occupied by the freshmen but not sure of his getter done situation capabilities. Kent at 3rd, Gravo in left, Sorrell in right, and chestnut in center with defensive speed but a stick liability. Schloss needs to figure out way to replace chestnut all together especially if wind blowing in like yesterday. You would think that to get adequate but not elite level play surely a D1 player can run with decent speed and catch fly balls. As they always say during recruitment they recruit athletes and not position players for this very circumstance.

One thing's for sure: LSU won't be anywhere near any kind of game.

They'll be home crying in their gumbo.
