Im leaning no. Just dont see Auburn signing a 5 star, best in class type Qb. Hope Im wrong, but I'll believe it when i see it

We have signed 3 5 star QBs in the past 14 years. We’ve been on a a drought but from 2009-2019 we signed 3.

Kiehl Frazier and Kodi Burns were 5*s at some point by at least one recruiting services. Pretty sure Burns was 07 but maybe he's referring to those/one of them.

I mean, its as if John Franklin 3, or TJ Finley or Jeremy Johnson or the countless low grade Qbs weve signed over the years never happened. Sure we signed Bo, but he left us high and dry and gave his best years to Oregon. Cam was a transfer one and done. Stidham was a gun slinger for hire for a season or two then left. No Qb we have recruited from HS have panned out since Brandon Cox.

Stidham, Bo, and Cam all threw a ton of screens and behind the line of scrimmage passes.

4 QBs went on to play professionally in the past 13 years. One didn’t play QB but is still hanging around in the CFL.
So now it’s only from high school that counts but everyone that craps on Thorne thought we should go get a transfer.

AT is right. Our entire history of QBs is not all that. We have far more just ok to not great than we have great.

Thank you ma’am you are absolutely correct. Sure in a game thread I might say number XX showed poor effort trying to reach that block, WR2 didn’t run the route the correct distance.
That’s not shitting on a player. That’s pointing out what happens on a play.
Shitting on a player is placing all blame on a particular player and saying player Z cost is the game because he sucks… blah blah blah
But I will continue to wait since I “always shite on players”
