Despite most of our fans thinking we will 10+ games, I see a 8-4 or 7-5 season....

Temple - WIN

Houston - WIN

Tulane - WIN

Tennessee - WIN

@ Auburn - LOSS

Texas - LOSS

South Carolina - WIN

@ Ole Miss - LOSS

Maine - WIN

@ Missouri - WIN (toss up)

Alabama - WIN

@ LSU - LOSS

6 wins tops. Y'all aren't beating Tennessee or the gumps, even at home.

I could totally see 6-6 but I really think they'll get up for a game or two and knock off a team at home.

I see OU losing to Ole Miss, Bama & LSU - everything else is a tossup.

I guesstimate 7 & 5, and I don’t think Venables is gonna be around next season.

I suppose so, but I just don’t think he’s good enough. As you well know Oklahoma’s a big ole job; got to find a great recruiter and ball coach.

Missouri was in the sec championship in their first year, if I recall correctly.

There’s not a lot of familiarity between OU and the rest of the SEC teams outside of Texas. Wouldn’t be surprised to see an 8-4 or 9-3 season.

Switch the loss from Auburn to Mizzou. I see Sooner with max 7 wins. Welcome to the toughest conference in the country.

I think, based on the schedule, 9-3 or anything better would be a really great, achievable season. However in college football that can easily turn into a 5-7 season, especially in a new, more competitive, conference. You never know, just enjoy the new tailgate opportunities next year and be grateful for the victories

7-0 start. Under 500 thereafter. That’s a helluva last 4 SEC games.cant wait until you boys come into Tiger Stadium- pretty exciting for a cfb fan.

Win against Bama? Idk about that one. I think OU will be a good team, just not this year. A little behind in the depth chart.
