What is everyone's thoughts on this? It would mean more money but also more of a grind. If they go to 9 would this make Clempson coming to the SEC easier to deal with?

I personally think if Clempson does leave the acc then they will be joining the SEC. TV markets are more based on team matchups instead of location now. I hate the thought of them with us but it would also make them play a tough schedule, every year, and they would be one of our 9 games so we could still schedule 3 easier games.

We play them every year anyways, why not?

I will laugh and point if they don’t, but if they do, bring it. Not like we’re ever winning the SEC without them in it, what does it change if they are?

we do play clemson every year, but id rather see them float the abyss for a while, or join a conference where they are spending $ out the butt to play some conference team from the other side of the country.

but 9 game schedule is fine with me, as long as we get UGA/UT/UF back, 2 of the 3 at least.

As a cynic I'd say, the grind for what? That it might too much for the national championship run we're about to go on? Of course I want to win a title, of course I'd like to just fricking make it to the SECCG and it may be made more difficult. But I am old school enough (and maybe it's not the best mentality) to make sure we have certain schools on our schedule at all times.

Not having UT or UF this is year is bad, but I can accept it. Not having UGA is an abomination - I don't care if we lose that game 9/10 times.

Again, maybe that's the wrong mentality but it's the one I've got for now.
