Damn...really? That sux. I started watching college basketball while he was at UCLA. To say he was dominant is one huge understatement. No college center ever literally owned the floor like the big redhead. The personality was just a bonus.

I can remember the great UCLA teams he played on. Back then freshmen had to sit a year. Walton's freshman team beat Lou Alcindor's national championship team that year in practice games. UCLA had bench players who would have nice careers in the NBA. They were a true dynasty.
