The ONLY reason this is true is because there are 22 million people in Florida (or whatever the number is. Per capita Georgia is tops for producing NFL Talent with Louisiana a close second followed by Alabama and Mississippi. Florida is fifth.

There are 23 million people in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. Those 23 million people produce 4 nfl players while Floridas 22 million produces 1. It ain’t even remotely close. Per capita South Carolina almost matches Florida. NFL talent comes from Charleston to Vinton and From Dalton to Valdosta and it ain’t close.

Yes, per capita and overall are two different stats. Very good. I was quoting total players. Thanks for the analysis.
