Ready to have some baseball on in the background at work over the next several days and get way too worked up over a “meaningless” tournament

It isn't meaningless for LSU, those baws are scratching and clawing for their lives.
Don't mess around and let them get hot.

Somebody who is smarter than me… what are the stakes for each team? I know we have several teams on the bubble playing for their lives. Anybody borderline on hosting/not hosting? Top 8/not top 8?

Think LSU, USC, and Vandy need to win today to lock them in, though multiple projections have all 3 in without a win today. But we've been left speechless plenty of times by the committee before....

Let’s just start with game 1. LSU is on the bubble to make the tournament and UGA is on the bubble for Super host (projected #8 by D1 last night). UGA loses and we won’t be a Super seed. LSU loses and I believe they will need a LOT to fall their way to make regionals.

Listening to Wes Johnson speak yesterday, it doesn’t sound like he’s going to put much effort into UGA having a long stay in Hoover. Talked a lot about how the pitching rotation/availability gets messed up during this tournament and the NCAAs are the priority. Disappointing since I believe a deep run could manifest a top 8 seed and hosting a Super Regional. Will not surprise me to see LSU win easily this morning since it seems they have something on the line.

Georgia pitching Jarvis Evans against LSU's Gage Jump
Evans Ks a lot of dudes, but looks like he lets a lot of guys on base, plus he has pitched 0.1innings this entire month.
Jump is LSU's Friday night guy
