Random attack. No interaction beforehand. Random student is President of the Pre-Law society and was just minding his own business. No one poured a drink or anyone or called anyone the N-word. It was a sucker punch.
Russell reached out via Instagram when he realized what he had done.
Sorry, you have to cut this guy loose.

Trace was sucker-punched by Mr. Russell as he was leaving Two Brothers Smoked Meats in Starkville. The attack, which was observed by several witnesses, occurred around 11:30 p.m. Trace was punched with such force that he was knocked out cold and, having no control of his body, fell backwards and struck his head on the concrete. As a result of the assault, Trace was left with a grossly swollen jaw and suffered head trauma requiring the placement of staples in the back of his head. Trace first received help from first responders before being transported by ambulance to Oktibbeha County Hospital (“OCH”), where he underwent tests that showed he had (1) bleeding in two areas in his right frontal brain lobe and (2) two bulging discs. The doctors at OCH placed three staples in Trace’s head wound to close it up. After further testing and consultations with a neurologist at Methodist University in Memphis (“Methodist”), the treatment team decided that Trace needed to be immediately transported to Methodist via ambulance to receive better care under the head trauma team there.

These are the type of people who should be in prison. Remove them from society.

Is there anything more disingenuous than someone who commits a serious crime and then says “that isn’t who I am as a person”?

The response should be "enjoy getting prison raped"

I used to agree with that sentiment, but prison isn't working because there isn't much fear involved in going there....they get ipads for goodness sakes...fear has to be brought back into the equation...maybe those Asian countries that cane people within an inch of their life know what's up?

Yes. State tends to pull from trashy juco and they are more chippy than usual. They get put down easily as well.

Not at all. But, didn't State have a recruit sign his letter of intent when he was in a jail cell once (Jessie Bowman)?

Russell isn’t a juco you retard. He is a product of JPS, which might be the worst school system on earth.

It's a problem with the prefrontal cortex development.
That said, this is nowhere near as bad as what that demon Harrison Butker did.

1. This is not just a State issue. You'd be surprised how dumb some of the football players on your favorite team are. Years of being passed because they are good at football and middle/high school cultures that revolve around athletic success produce kids that can't read.
2. This guy went to Provine High School, possibly the worst school in Jackson, Mississippi, one of the worst school districts in the nation. The Wall Street Journal reported that during COVID lockdown, 68% of Jackson TEACHERS never logged in for remote learning.
3. I feel like I am in an insane asylum when things come up like this. This guy needs to be arrested and face felony assault, and we have fans protecting him and making up lies - "The upstanding President of the Pre-Law society at MSU and great student called him the N-word and poured his drink on him."
We will slander what appears to be one of Mississippi's brightest to protect a random football player who started a few games on a bad football team.
