How will Saban handle talking about Bama on TV?

The man seems to be the most hardcore Bama fan there is still.....but "IF" Bama performs poorly in a game and it's time for GOAT to speak on ESPN.....How far will he go? With his huge shadow looming all over ttown? I assume he would keep it pretty civil but he could get carried away and say to much if he doesn't like what he is seeing......I foresee drama.....I cant remember a legend looming like saban is doing now. maybe Bowden sort of but not really. spurrier like 30 years later...same with fulmer....

I expect he’ll talk in a distanced, professional manner concentrating on the specifics of the game. I don’t think it’ll be difficult for a man of character to be non biased.

I think because he cares about the current direction of the program that he just left, he will be very objective and will be hard hitting with his facts about Bama more so than other teams he will be truth talking about.
He does not pull punches when he speaks so when he talks people will listen to every word.

Like the professional that he’s always been.

Like …. I handle … crossing the street .. getting a haircut …. discussing the weather, or the economics of cloud computing for an enterprise …
Watch a Belichek post game press conference…Saban will handle kinda like Belicjek does.

I think the way Urban is with Ohio State is a pretty good example of how to commentate and still be a fan.
Greg McElroy is a bad example of how to do it. He’s so worried about being biased, he comes across as actively against Alabama at times.

If they gave you an honest answer, most former players and coaches don’t want present and future players and coaches to be more successful than they were. They’re not really fans.

Speaking of looming you must have conveniently forgotten about Pat Dye. He remained closely connected to the program for decades after his career abruptly ended. That's short for fired.
Dye was a fixture on the sidelines at practices and games for years throughout the Terry Bowden, Tommy Tuberville, and even Gene Chizik eras and he had plenty to say well into the Gus Malzahn era. Pat Dye was still hosting a weekly radio show and wrote columns for years. What ex-coach does all that crap anywhere?
Head coaches at the barn were coming and going under the influence of Pat Dye. He was always a bold dude with plenty to say.

Saban will accidentally reveal how much Alabama cheated during his tenure.

He might even reveal how he beat the hogs 17 years in a row and they were still too stupid to catch on.
