Is this a thread where Georgia fans brag and pretend that GT is a real opponent?
No way Alabama would ever schedule Tech, right?

Playing Ga Tech every year doesn't make you special. Off the top of my head, UF plays Miami and FSU.

A common apologetic used by teams that don't play two OOC P5s....ever.

A common insult by teams that play one P5 OOC team and stick their chests out like they've done something special. Congrats on that VA win last year, puff.

Your last national championship is closer to Tech's last title than today.

Hell, they have a conference title 11 more years more recently than UTK.

Playing a variety of P5 teams all over the country should be the norm. Refusing to play more than a state away and playing the same 2 teams or in neutral Atlanta is not normal.

Yeah, you're stuck in the nineties, Puff. A meat and three (as in cupcakes) is your norm.

Imagine if the Vols had the balls to play 2 p5 OOC games on the regular. They dont because that isnt the norm for most teams. UGA is one of the few brave enough to do it.

Your big OOC this past year was a mediocre ACC team in Tennessee, this year it’s a mediocre ACC team in Charlotte. You could at least try two mediocre ACC teams a year. The majority of your “big” OOC games have been neutral site last 10 years. You’ve left the SE once during that time.

Last year was supposed to include Oklahoma, Covid year messed up scheduling. Every other year Vols played a game in a non SEC state for 4 such games.

UGA has left the SEC states once in that time frame for a scheduled game since 2010. Once. They routinely break home and home deals for a game in Athens and a neutral game in Atlanta.
