KY fans like to brush over the fact they had the weakest NIL budget in the league and have tranfer acceptance qualifications that would rival Harvard even though they are one of the worst schools in the SEC. But carry on with the narrative that it was Cals fault and not they the university failed to keep up with the changing environment

Ok the problem with NIL here was that he tried to do it all himself. He cut himself off from the donors at UK and tried to start La Familia with his NBA players. That didnt work out the way he had hoped.

Cal will have the donor base at Ark for a little while, but when the results don't match what the donors expect, things will get rocky, and you will be in the exact same situation. Good luck.

Good to see UK’s floor is Ark’s ceiling. Natural order and all.

you are not very bright ... are ya? I was just finally, getting the more engaged Arkansas fans to quit calling the outrageous hire of yours... Mark Pope, the Morman Auschwitz Synagogue Priest, "Dope" and there you go using it yourself.

Dude, go to the corner...

Kentucky didn't have weak NIL. Calipari alienated all of our boosters. So they decided to donate their funds to football. It was entirely Calipari's fault, if any of you Hog fans would bother to do the research. The moment he was gone and Pope was announced, they got right back on board. As one would imagine we have one of the best basketball NIL's in the conference now. But don't let actual facts ruin a good story.

Speaking of bright, pretty sure my comment was directed towards the same group you speak about.

Will type slowly this time: keep using that name and confession is the only was to save your soul.

Damn Baptists.

A younger, less experienced coach wouldn't have brought the level of excitement needed to look past the disaster of the football and basketball seasons.

Getting Cal was letting the outside understand that Arkansas wasn't going to let the basketball program slide back into irrelevance once again even though his results lately have been lacking.

And I have said nothing about NIL etal...

What you have said, is probably very true. Like Muss ticking off the big time boosters at Arkansas and leaving for USC (which we all know, is a lesser team, talent, program, just look at their facilities for basketball.) Before anyone disagrees, remember the video of our AD saying, "You still here". I get it man. But, Pope hasn't done anything yet, except much lower rated recruits than KY is used too. Will they be better coached, Maybe? We shall see.

I am tired of the AR fans Pooping on KY and KY fans doing the same. So I go off periodically. The idiot above from KY got me going again.

If you typed any slower, might as well send a carrier pigeon... as for Baptist.. Nope, carry on my wayward son.

Now, back to real basketball. Pope may do very well. He may not, we simply do not know. I am just tired of the back and forth bickering. Would love for a better rivalry like the Nolan days. Good for the conference and fans.

Fun times, those were... Today it is just flame throwing, crap tossing, trolls...
