The good thing for Pope is that fan expectations aren’t as high for him as they were for Cal. We can already see that in recruiting. Cat fans are giving Pope accolades for his 24th ranked recruiting class. Had Calipari recruited such a lowly ranked class, he would have been tarred and feathered by the fans.
