Does it matter if the only reason you had the opportunity to get embarrassed on the big stage was because Koy Moore muffed a punt? And Jordan Travis got injured? And Auburn rushed 2?

This is another tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, type thing.

and in contrast, Pete Prisco's opinions on the draft
quote:

Washington Commanders: A+
Best Pick: It was their first one, quarterback Jayden Daniels. I think he will be the best quarterback from this draft. They locked up a franchise passer with pick No. 2. He will be dynamic.
quote:

New York Giants: B-
Best Pick: It was their first one, receiver Malik Nabers. Some will say they should have taken quarterback J.J. McCarthy in that spot, but I like taking the best receiver in the draft. Nabers will be special.
quote:

Jacksonville Jaguars: B
Best Pick: I love second-round defensive tackle Maason Smith from LSU. His skill set is impressive. A torn ACL in 2022 set him back, but he started to look like himself late last season. He can be dominant.
quote:

Cincinnati Bengals: B-
Worst Pick: Third-round receiver Jermaine Burton from Alabama has the tools to be a big-time player. But there were reportedly some character questions about him. If he's focused, he will be a good receiver.
quote:

Los Angeles Chargers: B+
Worst Pick: I didn't love the pick of Alabama defensive tackle Justin Eboigbe in the fourth round. They've had trouble stopping the run, and he's good against the run, but that's high for him in my book.
quote:

New Orleans Saints: B+
Worst Pick: I actually liked all their picks. I think they had a good draft. If I had to pick one to question it would be corner Kool-Aid McKinstry in the second round since he's coming off a foot injury.

A lot of those players drafted will be bust. We should take a look in 3 years to see where this chart stands.

The same guy who coughed up three 1st rounders and ten total picks at Washington of all places (Same as Nick Saban). Now coaches at Alabama.

SEC be fuuuuuuuuuuuucked and right there under the surface, you all know it.

Greg Byrne was hired for one singular purpose. He had one job, and he fully met the requirements in his job description. The maws of pain are in your future.

Roll Tide ladies and gentlemen.

27 of 32 NFL teams have drafted a BAMA player in the 1st round under CNS.

Entering Thursday night, there were only six teams that had not drafted a. Saban-coached Alabama player in the first round. With the Vikings using their first-round pick on Dallas Turner, that number dropped to five.

The only five franchises to not select an Alabama player in the first round since 2009 are the Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears, Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Rams. The Jaguars came the closest of the five, with two early second-round picks in TJ Yeldon (36th overall in 2015) and Cam Robinson (34th overall in 2017.) The Chiefs have not drafted an Alabama player since 20xx, and the Bears only picked one Alabama player during Saban's entire tenure (Eddie Jackson in the fourth round in 2017.)
