It's April and how the hell would you know what that felt like? Can you point to a recent example to explain why you feel this way? Clearly I don't mean an example with your team.. but perhaps you could give us a different example where you could see the stars aligning in April.
You’re an a-hole. Can’t just give props when they’re due. Geez, shut your pie hole or deliver a pizza.

He’s a longhorn. They tend to have very little empathy - just arrogance. Ignore it … don’t see it out of BigBro very often, which is a surprise

I wasn't being a dick.. baseball is a funny game.. it's way way way too early for anyone to say that they know what will happen the rest of the season..
See Ole Miss in 2022.
See NC State in 2021.
See Tennessee in 2022.
It's April. Slow your roll a little bit.. You have a great team.. way better than Texas this year. You actually have a shot to win something.. perhaps you shouldn't be tempting the baseball gods by acting like your shite can't stink.
As bad as Texas is.. Texas could beat A&M in the regional.. It isn't likely, but it's possible.. baseball is a game where shite just goes sideways sometimes.. both good and bad..
Hell, LSU could win the championship this year and they are 3-12 in conference play right now.
What was the Ole Miss record in April of 2022?
What was Tennessee's record at that same time?
Good game Aggies

But where did I say that? Where did I make any outlandish predictions about the future?
I responded to someone who said we are “peaking,” with the answer that this has been a very steady team all season, both on the pitching and hitting side of the plate.
You’re usually a better poster than this.

You didn't and if he's half as smart as he thinks he is he knows that. I'm the only one that's made a prediction and it was a thread i started.
We will make Omaha.

He’s a perfect example of everything wrong with their fanbase.

I'm actually not being a dick.. I'm saying there is still a lot of baseball to be played.. clearly that isn't coming through the way I want it too..

Perhaps I misread your comment. I feel like people say "The stars aligned.." when they are explaining something after the fact.. not during the ride..
Either way, I didn't mean to ruffle anyone's feathers.. or maybe it is just that time of the month for me.. or maybe I just want a new baseball coach so I don't have to drink my own tears..

And? What do those two previous records from other teams have to do with anything I said? Did I say because we’re having a great season, the automatic result is a CWS championship?
I said our current success isn’t due to this team “peaking,” but rather hitting on all cylinders all season, which is what has happened.
But let’s agree to move on. Yes, it’s a long season.

Gig’em, BigBro. I’d say, “all good,” over a beer, but logistics and all. Maybe in November in CStat.
Again, you’re one of the better longhorn posters on here. Your level-headedness is appreciated.

I get what you’re saying. It’s a long season. Nothing is determined yet, and young people tend to sound a little confident when they’re excited. Anyone expecting to win the College Series in April needs to slow down. I don’t tempt the baseball gods either.
But at the same time, sometimes with these other fan bases it just comes across as trying to rain on someone else’s parade… Because Aggies aren’t claiming to have won anything yet.
Appreciate the perspective, though. It’s possible to be happy about winning a game and still see there is a long way to go.

I only wish I could still be described as “young.” ;) But wise words, AGGIES.
