Because they got the Lane Train run on them. They were big mad.
When we got a bad call that kept us from having a goal line play to beat Alabama about 15 years ago, one of our lovely ladies threw a pair of red high heel dancing shoes.
Demonstrates the difference in the two fan bases.

you are thinking of that time an om girl threw her red high heel at a visiting players in 2007. not very friendly if you ask me. that could put an eye out!!!
