Nobody turned Alabama down is the problem with this. You don't hire a coach that quickly if you are busy spending time making other people offers only to get turned down.

Did you? If you are going to name ALABAMA's coaching search specifically you need to do more than talk about head coaches getting raises. That happens anytime a team gets paranoid about someone stealing their coach You said ALABAMA, so you must have specific info on coaches getting raises after turning us down.

Prove either one was offered by ALABAMA. You can't. The ALABAMA AD told everyone who cared to know the specifics that Kalen DeBoer got the first chance at the BAMA coaching hire. Spoiler alert: He took it.
By the way, Kalen DeBoer was making a little over 4 mil at Washington. The AD heard about the BAMA offer and tried to counter by offering 8 mil to get him to stay. Kalen DeBoer wouldn't take the raise and before he left the AD made another run to keep their coach and offered 10 mil to stay at Washington. Kalen DeBoer turned that down as well.
These junior, are the cold hard facts from the BAMA AD and the Washington AD. The fact that Sark and Norvell got nice raises out of it had nothing to do with telling BAMA no.
