You seem upset Arkansas hired cal. Pretty sure we were getting made fun of for striking out on two coaches and then were looking at a local high school coach but yeah we struck out with landing cal... Or cal was the top target all along and we took him when he wasn’t happy at Kentucky.
I’m not a cal fan but this hire is better than what I expected and yes any other sec program would take him and get better immediately.

Oh. He isn't the worst hire by any means but I'm just saying UK got the longer end of the stick is all.
And it seems like a desperation move to get a flashy name instead of going after a talented mid major (yes more risky, but so is Cal to an extent) who could actually put you guys in a better situation long term vs a quick short term thing with Cal.

2. Cal needed a fresh start somewhere
3. Nobody really goes after coaches who have lifetime contracts, so it's up to them to reach out when there is an opening they would like to fill

.5 The Arkansas fan base is, without a doubt, the dumbest on the planet. When things are going well, we will blow it up and then blame the AD.

Look, I'm sure every Kentucky fan is happy to have Cal out of the program. It's also very likely that Kentucky gets an upgrade at head coach. Just remember that now you are going to have to play a Cal run Arkansas program multiple times per year that will likely be loaded with top 50 players and a top 5-15 ranking.
