Women have some strange protection of all of their entitlements.
They are allowed to lower the Infantry standards (3 jobs: shoot, move, communicate) with their inclusion yet you dont see feminists wanting to register for the draft. They are allowed to hit, but cannot be touched. They are equal to men but need countless concessions. It's a have your cake and eat it too world.
This is a fricked up conversation but I would rather we not condemn the kid over raw charges until the story is known.

He got 2 misdemeanor charges and the woman was alright with that so while I wasn't there it doesn't seem to be at the level you're describing. I trust Coach Pearl's judgement here so if he thinks he fits in with the culture then so be it

Well that's just silly. I have a daughter. What he did is wrong but people deserve second chances in most cases.

Yeah but I think there is a degree of how wrong something is where some people don't deserve special opportunities like division 1 basketball and all that comes with it. For instance if he was diddling little kids or producing child porn it would be without question. In this case, if he beat up/strangled a girl because she turned off his ps4 when he was about to hit a lick on GTA5 then yeah don't sign the dude. If he hurt a Britney Griner type who was trying to kill him then maybe sign him.

Well at least the shitty people on here are outing themselves 
The story is out there if you actual care enough to find it. The guy is a piece of shite and we don't need him. There are plenty of good basketball players capable of playing back up PG for us, we do not need this guy.
I'm not Jesus and I'm not the court. I don't have to forgive or forget anything. Only thing I hope for him is he gets his arse whooped by someone way bigger than himself one day.

I wish the guy the best but would not support bringing him in. I don’t care if he carried us to a national championship. Second chances are earned not deserved. We have all screwed up but beating up a girl and choking her is a different level regardless of what he was charged with.

Not mentioned here, but It started because she accidentally got his phone wet. He also mashed her face into the mattress so that she couldn't breath and stole her cell phone so she couldn't call anyone after flying her from Cali to Pitt.

It doesn't appear that any more has come from the zoom meeting so as of now it seems we aren't interested. Like I originally said I trust Coach Pearl's judgement. The Freeman kid from Morehead St is still available. I wouldn't be surprised to see us circle back
