He didn’t “give him 3 knees to the chest”.
I mean that was the exact same language both announcers used.

What he did wouldn’t have knocked a house cat off its feet and I promise you it didn’t hurt.
Are you slow? He literally did knock Carter over…. There’s video on the interwebs

quote:the problem is not the catcher, he's a dumbass. The problem is your baby back bitch coach wanting the review and over half our starting lineup getting ejected when it was a dust up. Of course "the Georgia diddler" would be perfectly fine with that.

He was literally already on the ground. Calm down bro.
MSU had 80% of their lineup ejected as a result.
UGA won the game and tomorrow’s game as a result.
Yall are good. Justice was done for this terrible event. I hope your player that was on the receiving end of this horrific attack can recover and live a normal life. I assume he’ll be out tomorrow as a result of his devastating injuries.

Alright so I pulled up the replay.
(Video is at 2 hours and 25 minutes-ish)
Catcher tagged him and then basically backed him up off of the plate (no, he didn’t kneel on his chest) while running his mouth. Pretty unnecessary and the behind the plate ump grabbed him pretty quick to move him out of the way.
Outside of that you simply had some guys holding others back, some jawing, and some guys leaving the dugouts of both teams. It was a huge arse nothing burger and the only one who should catch an ejection is State’s catcher if you really want to be fair about it.

Carter was sliding and already down.
The announcer was over exaggerating IMO. His knee is near his rib cage but he doesn’t KNEE him. He did cower over him and back him up which should’ve lead to the ejection.
ETA: UGA’s challenge was malicious contact at the plate. I think that’s pretty fair.
