Good one. Problem is, we won the last series last year! Next time, make sure to check your data.

When a coach literally says "What I do, doesn't matter..."

You know you are a SERIOUS coaching issue. And coming from the HC? He entire speech yesterday 100% blamed players with zero coaching accountability.

That simply doesn't sound like a championship level coaching staff, nor do the results this year support it. He gets absolute credit for the 2023 title but using a hall of fame coach players (Mainieri)

Jay bought himself 2024 and 2025 seasons. But at this rate, could be an immediate fall from grace. What have you done for me lately?

Btw, Tiger fans, best move he can make is to replace Yeskie as soon as possible.

Not sure Jay can correct the ship by calling out his players directly. He is gonna lose the locker room if he isn't careful.

Good luck....I prefer playing LSU when they are on a rise. Welcome to the SEC, Jay Johnson.

Thanks for your professional take.

But I’ll trust the guy who has more national titles in the last three years than tamu’s football, baseball, and basketball programs combined since the end of WW2.

This one I can agree with

At the end of the day they lost Skenes, Crews, Beloso, Morgan and a few others. Tough guys and leaders to replace. Team doesn't have one right now

Yea I guess our coach who won a national championship last year isn’t championship caliber.

LSU was in the SEC long before Gay & M was.

I also don't see any championship banners in your bubble gun filled stadium.

A&M wants to be LSU so bad.. but ya'll never will be.

Not sure why OP is asking Tiger fans when he already seems convinced of the answers.

Jay can't seem to get this team to play anywhere near their talent level.

Yea maybe you need to check your data before posting because you are 100% WRONG

Fri.
Mar 17

Bryan-College Station, Texas (Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park)
W, 9-0

Sat.
Mar 18
#1 LSU AT #11Texas A&M

Sun.

You might be thinking about the last, last series that A&M won at Baton Rouge in 2022

False. LSU took 2 of 3 at Olsen in 2023.

That simply doesn't sound like a championship level coaching staff, nor do the results this year support it.

I don’t know the context of that quote, but I’m going to trust the guy knows what he’s doing. He’s taken two different schools to Omaha and has a ring. As for the staff, Josh Jordan and Mark Wanaka won a ring under Jay, Yeskie has won a ring, and Terry Rooney was a HC for 8 seasons at UCF. They know what it takes to win at the highest level.

So are you giving him “absolute credit” or trying to say he won with Mainieri’s players? He was hired after the 2021 season and he coached “Mainieri’s players” for 2 years before winning it all last year.
Speaking of Mainieri, his 2021 recruiting class is part of the reason for the struggles this season. Only 3 of Mainieri’s players from that class made a significant contribution, the rest have since transferred.

You got your wish. How’d that work out for ya?

Also, ‘welcoming’ a coach to the SEC when he’s already won a national championship playing in the conference.

Y’all are a walking punchline in every sport.

I bet it’s a super serious issue. I mean, what would he know, right? He’s only won a national title at his current school within his first 2 years as HC (which occurred less than 10 months ago)

But I’m sure aggie fans have witnessed that so many times that they should lecture us on it, right?

for someone that’s a fan of football teams that purchase players rather than recruit them normally, you sure do seem oblivious to the transfer portal

Also, you must be new to college baseball if you think any coach is going to have a hard time recruiting at LSU for baseball
