Looks like GA law closes a loop hole.
Etienne's DUI charge is classified as "less safe," which in Georgia means he can be convicted even if his blood alcohol level is less than .08.

Congrats on a lesser DUI charge. Major win for Georgia fans.

You can be impaired and not be legally drunk.
Why are you defending this? What was his BAC?

By the time lawyers and the incompetent DA in Athens are done with this, it will be a $500 fine. He didn't piss or submit blood (wisely). Kirby will punish him much worse than anything the government will be able to do to him.
Depending on what cops have on dash cam in the "reckless driving" charge, he might get a license suspension.

Zero tolerance for being underage so not really a win here. Being underage can mean worse penalties as well

Of all the unbelievably shitty posts I’ve read on this site, this is quite possibly THE shittiest, from start to finish.

His charge is "DUI-Less Safe" meaning he did not blow over .08, but he blew under .08 but because he's not 21, he catches the lesser DUI charge anyway.
Sorry Clemson, if he misses the opener it won't be from this charge.
Sounds like that cop got a nice little payday for “adjusting” the data from that stop.

So he was still driving under the influence and underage?
Whatever makes you sleep better at night, buddy.
