So ref calls goaltending on a shot which was swatted out of bounds by texas and tenn was awarded 2 points. 3 min later as there was no dead ball they apparently review and decide it wasn’t goaltending and 2 points are subtracted from tenn.

problem is it would have been tenn’s ball out of bounds if the ball wasn’t goaltended. Doesn’t seem right.

They messed up on possession. I dont know why they cant review at that point of time. They always wait til next stoppage

Get used to it. Longhorns and refs are always the best of friends.

Well then, it can be fixed, after Tenn. makes a basket, it is supposed to be Texas ball right? Tenn. should get their OWED POSSESSION it dam well could have been fixed.

Yea I don't understand how they can take the points back but not give the possession back.

Absolutely horrible rule. And we almost loss so that could’ve been the game. You HAVE to review those IMMEDIATELY if possession would matter, which it did in that instance.

Yea if it was a block he swatted it out of bounds. Would have been our ball still. How in THE frick can someone from the sky just take a basket off the board 5 minutes after the fact and steal a possession away like that? Like it just doesn't matter that it would have been our ball? Holy shite that rule must be changed ASAP

Been watching college basketball for decades now. Truly, I had no idea about that rule. Made me lose my mind. Had we lost by 1 or 2 I would have BLM rioted

Officiating felt pretty lopsided through the entire game which was shite considering Texas had a flagrant within the first ten minutes. It’s odd to me that a team gets an immediate flagrant and still seemingly gets the benefit of the doubt
