You poor bastard, you were just arguing that Holman wouldn’t have necessarily won any games at Alabama this year.
I just said it wasn't a known quantity.
2022 Alabama football was supposed to be a world beater with all that talent and experience returning but they lost two regular season games.
Just because something looks good on paper doesn't mean it ends up being good.

2022 Alabama football
Team performance dependent on chemistry. Starting pitchers are generally viewed as individual performances, barring errors from the fielders (which ERA adjusts for and is a better stat for pitching performance than W/L record as you mentioned). A knowledgeable baseball fan would know the difference between football performance and starting pitcher performance, not to mention that 10-2 with 2 last second defeats on the road is a terrible argument for being good on paper and not in reality. Maybe go to bed and try again in the morning, you’re getting owned.

The only known quantity in your list of opinions a few pages back was the NIL money.
Holman went to the highest bidder.

It is funny that you, a LSU fan, would say a 11-2 season is not good. Seeing as how LSU has only had eight seasons in their history with 11 wins or more. Only eight out of their 132 year history. Five of those came under Les Miles, who was fired not for all the sexual misconduct that occurred under his watch but because he didn’t win enough. Now THAT looks bad on paper.
