Would have been ineligible at Iowa this season due to tampering.

So how does Proctor already know he has a roster spot at Alabama if bama didn’t tamper? He still has three weeks before the portal is even open and has already announced his intentions to transfer to Alabama. No way that can happen without tampering.

Bama definitely 'tampered', whatever that means. Of course Proctor could make an educated guess that he would start next season.

Pretty obvious that anything goes now, and people like you are fine with it as long as its your team and will chide people like Saban, that wants to clean it up. But my how the turntables.

That aside, apparently Proctor was in Tuscaloosa of his own accord last week, partying with ex Alabama teammates and they probably advised him how much like they like the new staff, and it's a good guess that he misses his team. Also, now he has experienced Alabama, and Iowa U, and it's probably a good bet that any player would choose Alabama on the footbal field. Alabama or Iowa would not be a tough choice.

edit: 6 pages already. This is hilarious.

The kid chose to spend spring break with his Bama teammates. Maybe they told him the new staff ain't so bad? Maybe he had a chance to lay out the pro's/con's of playing for Iowa vs Bama?

Well, he was the starting LT before he left. He knew there was a spot for him, one way or another.
