It's a pretty bad city. Watch yourselves on the streets.

The waterfalls are cool, but the fentanyl problem is not great.

It does have a crazy crime rate for a city it's size.

1 in 16 chance of being a victim of violent or property crime. The latter skews its ranking heavily. 95 percentile nationally for property crime (national avg is 35) and slightly above the average for violent crimes. It's like the B'Ham of the Pacific NW (only with MUCH lower violent crime rate), who knew? The AL teams should feel right at home.

Spokane is a shite hole that has only gotten worse these past few years. Anybody who says otherwise has not been to Spokane.

Gotta admit had no clue and would never had thought it. What a shite country we are now. No where is safe.

With a crime rate of 64 per one thousand residents, Spokane has one of the highest crime rates in America compared to all communities of all sizes - from the smallest towns to the very largest cities. One's chance of becoming a victim of either violent or property crime here is one in 16.
