Came across this video on YouTube this morning. It's the Iron Bowl of 1983 with the spotlight on Bo Jackson. The title of the video is "Bo Jackson hits superstardom in the 1983 Iron Bowl". I watched a similar one about Herschel Walker. We (College football fans) were so blessed to see two great running backs playing the game.

Thanks for link.
My four years at Auburn were the Bo years.
I remember the 1982 Georgia game with each team having a #34 that was beyond terrific.
I wonder if Bo had played LB that day of he could have made a difference in a close game?

Epic matchup against arguably the two best RBs of all time. They came in with talent nobody could match at the time. They seemed to be bigger, stronger, faster and more talented than anybody else on the field. Two great RBs. I am beyond happy I was able to see them both play.

a side note about the 1983 Iron Bowl - there was actually a TORNADO WARNING for the Birmingham area during the 2nd half of the game and they still didn't delay the game

I also got to see both of them play. You knew that any time either one got the ball a big play could occur. Thanks for posting the video. The Auburn wishbone days were good.

For some reason I didn't feel blessed at the time.
Now I am fortunate that I was present to see it.

I went with a group of guys to the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta and ran into an old Gator.
Terry Lecount was actually working there. We had a couple of Florida fans with us and he took time to have pictures made with them and showed us around.
Seemed like a class guy. He was very nice.
