SEC needs to keep aggy in order keep the DEI lobbyist off their back.
If they leave which pro-trans school would replace them? RuPaul U?

UT Austin is easily the gayest school in the conference whether A&M leaves or not.

If the Aggies left for the BIG then the Longhorns would follow right behind them.
While I don't like the yankees much, no one can deny that the BIG is much wealthier and more prestigious academically than the SEC. There is no way UT would allow A&M to be there by themselves and reap those benefits.
With both Texas schools in the BIG, that would really hurt the SEC.
Safe bet is to keep the Aggies here. Just put the pride flag out at the Destin meetings. That should smooth things over and they will be happy again.
