What does Tate Johnson weigh now? 215?

290. Not a big deal IMO

Clay Wedin down to 276 is more interesting. A lot of the real big guys lost weight. Izavion Miller also down to 290, which I’m sure makes those knees feel better. Bradyn Joiner was down a lot too

I think a lot of it may be bad weight for the big guys and making way to build muscle. My real question is why some of our defensive backs CAN'T put on good weight and muscle. Being a good player is more important than a number I know, but it can't help DJ James that he literally stayed at a 170 pounds even though he had access to a college level weight program. He's a first rounder if he was 185-190 at least. Anyway we have several defensive backs that barley make 180 and I wonder why? Could it also be more about the muscle and not the number? Not an expert, just asking for opinions

Yea i legit think they are cutting bad weight. This is the time of the year you do it. Then you bulk up through the summer. When the season hits, they will naturally lose weight again. Will see what the official numbers are for fall. If they are still light, then that will be a more interesting conversation.

Mentioned this one before, thats not just losing some bad weight, thats concerning given the close eye given to their nutrition.

Maybe he had mono or something. I remember Britton saying when he interviewed with Auburn that they thought "he looked light for listed weight". He said he had an abscessed tooth and hadnt been able to eat squat for two weeks prior to the visit and looked like a tight end.
