I read an opinion based article of what if players opted out. I didn’t know that in Madden, only Bill Belichick opted out. Then I looked at how much pro players make for their NIL in madden.

quote:

what are NFL players getting paid for Madden?' And the numbers we were given were from 2019, it was disclosed that they got, I think, about $17,000. And then a current NFL player told us that he got a check for $28,000 this year for Madden. . .

Hence, I wanted to start a discussion if NCAA will eventually pay out more.

I've saw it mentioned in an article somewhere or another that they will reevaluate the total payout going forward. So if it's a smash hit, I expect that $600 to go up. But with 11,000 players to pay, it's only going to go so high. EA sports isn't giving New Mexico State's backup kicker a $10,000 check.

The NCAA now has 134 teams with 85 scholarship players each, which is 11,390

The nfl has 32/53 = 1696
