or at least things I find crazy

Baseball
East Carolina baseball has never been to Omaha.
Florida State has been to Omaha 17 times, with zero titles

Basketball
DePaul has one winning season since 2008, yet they are 400 games over .500 all-time and one of the winningest programs in history.
Alabama has 21 combined SEC titles, 24 NCAAT appearances, 10 Sweet 16s but has never been to the Final Four

Football
Arkansas has been involved in both 7 OT games, the longest in FBS. They won both of them.
Rutgers invented football and has an all-time losing record and only one conference title

Football:

No coach in college football has beaten Kirby Smart as a head coach while coaching the team they'll be coaching this upcoming season.

Every coach who's played Kirby Smart while coaching at the school they are currently coaching at has lost every time they've faced him.

Hey genius, I didn't know Arkansas was a third team in Texas A&M's 74-72 7OT win over LSU.

Rutgers did NOT invent football. They only played in the first college football game vs. The College of New Jersey, now more commonly known as Princeton University.

Walter Camp invented the sport of football here in America.
