Faced with the near impossible task of replacing Nick Saban, one of the game's brightest minds is ready to mark his own legacy.

In dissecting DeBoer's offensive prowess, we discover a playbook that not only embraces the core tenets of the spread offense, but also introduces a level of ingenuity that keeps opposing defenses guessing.

Good read when you have the time.

And just like that, Joey Freshwater becomes less relevant.

I’m so glad we didn’t hire Kiffin.

He was the best hire for this new era at UA. We might not dominate right off the start but he will bring some excitement to the team with his offense that will have us in every game with a chance to win.

Michigan and Washington State did pretty good shutting down the offense.

Regardless of how it turns out, I'm glad that we went with a clean break from Saban and a new Philosophy.

I loved what Saban did and I think Lane is a damn good coach and recruiter. From a philosophical standpoint, when it's time to move on it's better to bring in new a new perspective rather than try and rely on what came before. Let it be it's own thing.

I guess that's a long way of saying don't bring someone in just because they worked with Saban, but bring in someone that may do things differently but shares the same attributes and characteristics of what built the previous success.
