Because, being Bama, they can’t admit that this isn’t a stellar hire.

Maybe, but you're not going to win an SEC championship without defense

My brother in Christ LSU was 99th in yards per play allowed last year

Until they lose 4-5 games. Then, we will hear what they really think about him.

Was still a 1 score game in the fourth quarter.

BK it was over in the 1st quarter.

This is definitely a major moral victory

So we're just supposed to pretend being competitive in your championship opportunity is the same as getting absolutely embarrassed?

I admit he's nowhere close to the high profile or prestige of a Liberty Flames HC, but he may have helped make a name for himself having just coached in the NC game.

Obviously, nobody wants to watch their team have a shite defense, but if your offense is good enough, your defense doesn’t have to be elite. Or even good.

So deboer fielded a shitty offense last year.

I'd say 2012 Bama was probably better than 2023 Michigan.

I'd also say 2023 Washington was better than 2012 Notre Dame, they at least had more talent.

Despite all of that, Michigan's win probability never fell below 70% so I would say that game wasn't as competitive as is being presented.

We're curious if you think BK is better
Than our new coach? If so why?

I wouldn’t want either one of them.

Very similar hires.

DeBoer is basically a younger BK with less experience.

Kelly is averaging 3.5 losses a year. Not impressed

In 2yrs he's won the SECW 50% of the time.... made it to the SECCG 50% of the time.... produced a Heisman winning QB 50% of the time. Yep, not impressed.
