He just may win his school two national titles, 99% of UF fans pretty much believe him to be the second coming, and espn, cbs, and fox worship the ground he walks on.

Dont feel relieved when he goes pro. Cuz florida fans are going to be talking about this guy for years and years and years till our ears bleed.

FYI: This is a comparison to how they'll be remembered, not as they both played.

He's the second best player at his position on his team?

And he will have the same impact as Danny Wuerffel in the NFL.

Dateline, 2016

Boy, it sure is great to still have ole Urbs coaching 'em up and winning NC's every other year. What are we up to now, 7? I sure do miss Timmy T though, there will never be another like him. Do you remember the game his senior year where he carried 13 UT players into the endzone. How about when he carried the entire UGA team, including Richt, over the goal line. Can we try to clone him?!?

Sometimes I'm saddened that Don Hutson isn't discussed as an all-time great more often.

So what is wrong with being proud of the Bear if you are a Bama fan and the same with Tebow. It is called a great fan base. Wish we had more of them.

As much as he is hyped, no one will ever equal the amount of worship the Bammer's have for that man.

Example: SECCG:
FL: maybe 10 FL Number 7 jerseys, I think I saw 1 Number 11 jersey, and maybe a Grossman one too. Lots of 15, because he is the current, but I would suspect everyone to move on like they have with the few other greats we've had.

Alabama: Maybe 10 fans weren't wearing something with that god awful houndstooth design on it.

I'll be glad to see the kid's memory live for fifty years or more.

At least he is not some foul-mouthed, tattooed, jive-talking, showboat thug.

He is a good kid with enormous personal integrity and a great work ethic - glad to see someone like that get the attention.

Nobody will ever be the equivalent of Coach Bryant. I just wanted to clear that up, y'all may carry on.

Don Hutson basically created the wide receiver position as it is played in the modern era. He held career records that weren't topped until Jerry Rice played decades later, in a more pass-friendly NFL. One of the all-time greats without a doubt.
