9 game, is really the only way. It’s the best rotation.
3 rivals and 6 rotating
Gets rid of .500 sec schedule
Allows for 1 or 2 big OOC games , plus a money game.
Not ebven sure how it’s a debate.

because the bottom teams want to be “bowl eligible” each year.. or to have an extra home game for more revenue.. and while I hope it doesn’t happen, that mindset might cause losing some teams at some point.. it’s all about eyeballs and money at this pojnt.. I don’t like it, but that is where we are..

Because you have more road conference games than home every other year?
Because you guarantee 8 teams an additional loss every year?
Because, in the history of college football, only 1 team has ever had 9 scheduled conference games and won a national championship?
There are plenty of reasons.
