Terrible idea. The conference tourney should be to help bubble teams get a couple wins to get in and then get everyone ready for regionals. A single game early in the week fails to do that.
We should do a pool play then a 4 team single elimination final.

Keep winning and you’ll keep playing. I don’t know how much stock is put into the tournament as far as seeding goes.
