Maybe not a big game, but the lightning storm during the Ole Miss game (94 or 95 I think) was insane. An Ole Miss coach was zapped through his headset by a nearby strike, IIRC he was burned. Dude kept coaching.
I think two of ABC's camera crew were zapped and went to the hospital. And it was raining cats & dogs. Play was eventually suspended for half an hour. 2005 Auburn @ LSU
ESPN showed Auburn getting off the bus before the game and Kenny Irons looked at the camera and said he was going over 200. He had 218 yards that game.
Unfortunately, the Auburn kicker missed 5 field goals to lose by a field goal in overtime. LSU and Auburn both only had one SEC loss that year and LSU had the tiebreaker for the West.
