Joe Frazier was asked once, after he and Muhammad Ali had both retired and Ali was struggling badly with Parkinson's Disease, what he thought about his one-time rival. He said, "Ali and I fought three times. I won once and he won two. But look at him now. I think I won all three." That's how I feel about Fulmer. Yes, he had success against Bama, and yes, he got us put on probation. But look at Tennessee now. I think we won every game against him.

Joe Frazier died a poor, bitter old man who lived in the back of a gym but it’s a cute story I guess

In 1996, when Ali lit the Olympic flame in Atlanta, Frazier told a reporter that he would like to throw Ali into the fire and felt that he should have been chosen to light the flame.

Solid young coach trending up? And seeing success across the athletic spectrum? Owning NIL and poised to take another step forward this coming year?

Vs Bama that’s on a full blown decline.
