And Josh Pate who is the biggest Bama shill ever ... is just spinning on DeBoer's tiny d.

I don’t think it’s sudden. He took over a 4-8 Washington team and went 25-3. He’s 5-0 against perceived better coaches in Lanning and Sark.
Now he’s in charge of arguably the biggest brand name in college football with a national recruiting footprint, top of the line facilities, and a much larger football budget.
Some people like Pate and Cubelic just call it like they see it. They’re a lot less biased/prejudiced than the average message board fan that’s spent most of their adult life being traumatized by Alabama
Cowherd is a hot take merchant but he called him the best X and O coach in the playoff. That’s not Colins own opinion, he’s just parroting something he was told by someone actually in the industry that knows what they’re looking at. He’s pretty well respected among those that know what they’re talking about though. All you’ll read around here is hurrr durrr he ain’t gon be able to recruit in the south. Never mind Ryan Days midwestern arse can recruit southern kids to move north

I wouldn't say scared. It's just football. I don't see him being any better than Lincoln at very best. He'll have a decent offense but a west coast quality defense. Bama will look impressive against cupcakes and maybe mid-tiers but will get beat by very good teams with a decent defense. Kind of like your '18, '19 squads.

Dude, LSU will in fact finish higher than Bama at least for the next two seasons.

He’ll have defenders from Mobile, Atlanta, Miami, and Houston…so don’t hold your breath on that west coast defense.
Decent offense is another piece of wishcasting, considering his was ranked #1 last year

Bama will have a more talented roster, so what are you basing this on?

Not even close.

It’s easy to say what Bama will do in October and November today.
I think the smart money will wait until November to see what kind of coach we got.
Maybe good, maybe bad. We shall see. And live with it.

This must be why Bammers are constantly hating on BK.

Deboer is a very good coach. He will take less talent and probably do twice what Saban/Rees was doing with them. If they can develop a decent defense, they'll be very good very soon.

They weren't even top ten.

Those two teams went a combined 25-3 with a national title appearance and an SEC championship

This is not the flex you think it is

Sidewalk, you really don’t understand how Bama fans feel about BK as coach of your team.
The majority of our fans are happy happy to have him as your coach because we know when faced with a great team he will fold like a cheap suit.
