I heard they were actually making a new book in the Bible for Tebow.

+1
I'd like to be him for a day. I'd just walk through UF's campus and have my way with every chica I want.

I can't wait till he turns Pro!
More Tebow and less Burress(who literally shot himself in the foot!) and "Pacman"!
At this point Tebow might save the NFL!

b/c tebow happens to be the biggest story in college football in years.

I personally would like to take back every bad thing I ever said about Tebow. Did you see the smile on his face when they were talking about him getting to use the "special phone to talk to the kids" in the orphanage? And he in his manages to find time for a prison ministry. I realize it's hard to believe anyone could be this perfect, but after the whole spirit award video and the mom's interview, I truly believe he is a very special person. He did cry after Ole Miss beat Florida and I laughed, it's still funny, but I do believe he is a genuinely nice person. He can have whatever awards he wants. 2 national championships and heisman's for Tebow.

He is what all college and professional athletes should aspire to be. Tries just as hard off the field as he does on it.

He is only considering going pro because of what that money will do for mission efforts. Wow.
I can't wait for him to leave Florida so that I can actually cheer for him.

You know what they say:
"Superman wears Tim Tebow PJ's to Bed"

He is good but damn it gets old. I have heard enough about him for one year!

He is who they say he is. If you want to un-crown his arse, then un-crown his arse. But he is who they say he is.

He is the best player in College football. Who else are they supposed to talk about? Plus he is a great kid in a time not known for such.

Actually there are plenty of great people in college football. Just think of of the Cal player that had his leg broken while helping to defend another. Others just don't need to proclaim their goodworks as loudly as Tebow. If he tried as hard off the field why did he chose a BS major in college? Why did he choose to study at home, but play football at high school when he could have prosyletized the Good Word to all the poor lost high school kids. I am sure he is a perfectly fine individual, but I will always be wary of Evangelicals. I just don't agree with their belief that fundamentalist Christianity is the perfect fit for the entire world or the only right way to look at things.

My son asked me if Tebow was on the 10 year plan at Florida. Seems like it. I wonder if he was a Muslim (equivalent of a missionary) or Jewish would ESPN be so up his butt?

I can't argue with Tebows success. He is a monster college football player with a set of skills I've never seen before - and will probably never see again. That said - he's not the kind of person who inspires me. Religious zealotry is pure arrogance to me. I respect everyones beliefs but resent people like Tebow who inject their religious beliefs into every aspect of public life. Tebow is a religious fanatic and if he confronted me with the intention of "ministering to me" in real life I'd tell him to frick off. I haven't heard him preach tolerance and I doubt he has it for any religion but his own.
This criticism only speaks to his personality - not to his athletic skills. People like Tebow in the workplace tend to alienate people and cause lots of problems with their intolerance. I grew up in a the Southern Baptist South - it offended me then and it offends me now. IMO Religion should be personal. Tebows choice to force it into all situations turns me off on him bigtime.

I like Tebow. Our kids need good role models in a world full of bad people. Why bash the guy? Bash the people stroking his ding-a-ling so much.
