It’s 2023, and we have not upgraded. I always hated May, but it was a healthy hate.

May has not really gone away. His clone is now calling college baseball games. Lou has been "gone" for years.

The CFB final show with Rece, Lou, and MM was better than any studio show (including game day) before or since.

Whatever happened with Mark May? He selling car insurance now?
If so, will OU fans pester him and leave fake, bad reviews?

And they actually showed most college games highlights. Not just 30 second clips of major games between 10 minute commercial breaks.

I used to think Mark May and Lou Holtz were annoying but they were so much better than a lot of the unbearable in studio “talent” on ESPN today.

The Dr. Lou segment with his halftime pep talks were the best thing ESPN has ever produced.

I saw Lou on Fox or something a couple of weeks ago and he's just as sharp as he ever was. If they brought him and Mark I might actually be able to watch GameDay Final

Is May the biggest frontrunner in sports broadcasting history?
